Executive Insights: An Interview with Charles Phillips, CEO, Infor

Charles Phillips, CEO at Infor, provides his insights and experience in a conversation with Saugatuck Technology CEO Bill McNee about enterprise architecture, the evolving capabilities of the Cloud, and the promise of Social technology, all of which are helping to drive business innovation for his customers. Executive Insights: An Interview with Scott Skellenger, Sr. Director of Global IS at Illumina

While in San Francisco for a significant industry conference in mid-September, Alex Bakker and I had a chance to sit down with Scott Skellenger, Senior Director, Global Information Services at Illumina – an innovative genomics / life sciences company.

In a brief “Executive Insights” video interview posted on YouTube, Skellenger shares his insights and experience concerning the coming inflection point for Cloud adoption and the change in the customer-facing nature of business applications within enterprise IT.

Additionally, he provides some strategic guidance, based on his experiences at Illumina with BYOD and loosely-coupled IT architectures. In mid-September, Alex Bakker and I traveled to Stamford, CT and caught up with Greg Buoncontri, EVP and CIO at Pitney Bowes.

Two weeks ago, while in San Francisco for a major industry conference, Alex Bakker and I caught up with Mike Pearl, who is a Principal and US Cloud Lead at PwC.

In addition, he discusses how customers are driving significant new business innovation through the deployment of Cloud services.
